CENTRIA®, leading innovator and manufacturer of the world’s most advanced building envelope wall and roof panels, is responding to the increasing demand for design flexibility from architects and building owners with an expanded line of its proven Versawall insulated metal panels (IMPs) for wall application.

Thanks to the company’s commitment to ongoing innovation, the lightweight panels now come in a full range of options, including:
• Versawall V, an embossed IMP that comes in Planked or Striated profiles.
• Versawall V+, offering a smooth version of Versawall V in Flat, Planked or Striated profiles and embossed Flat.
• The recently introduced Versawall H+, a smooth or embossed horizontal IMP in a Flat profile.

“Architects, specifiers and building owners have come to understand that CENTRIA’s Versawall panels deliver everything they seek in a building envelope solution – ease and efficiency of installation, energy performance to meet today’s strict building codes, and the aesthetic appeal that can create a design signature for structures such as warehouses, industrial facilities, schools and shopping centers,” said Julie Schessler, product manager at CENTRIA. “With Versawall V+ and Versawall H+, we’ve expanded the applicability of this product line, giving key decision makers more options in terms of aesthetics and orientation.”

Along with the various finishes available, Versawall comes in long lengths for more efficient installation. The increased span capability reduces support steel requirements,
and a thermal break between the face and the liner saves energy. A factory-applied panel joint sealant combined with a field-applied sealant create an air and vapor barrier that provides outstanding weather resistance. Versawall can also be used for interior partitions.

Moon Township, PA…CENTRIA®, leading innovator and manufacturer of the world’s most advanced building envelope wall and roof panels, integrated components, and coating systems, announces a new addition to its Versawall® product line: Versawall Non-Embossed.

The new Versawall option presents a sleek, smooth exterior face. Panel length is 20’ for this non-embossed profile that meets the same stringent testing requirements as the rest of CENTRIA’s insulated metal panel line.

Formed with a galvanized steel face and liner with pre-formed joinery, and thick, rigid HCFC-free foam insulation, Versawall panels are remarkably strong and provide outstanding weather resistance and moisture protection.

“Demonstrating our continued dedication to the architectural community, we at CENTRIA are proud to offer Versawall Non-Embossed,” says Tom Zombek, Project Manager. “By expanding upon our current profile selection, we aim to better serve our customers and help them bring their designs to life.”

Versawall insulated metal wall panels add versatility and flexibility by offering a metal panel solution for walls. These lightweight insulated metal composite panels can be installed vertically for long, sleek sight lines, and the lightly-planked interior liner works compositely with the face sheet to provide greater strength.

CENTRIA system revitalizes high-rise multifamily property.

“It’s dry.”

To the residents of 8330 On the River, an 18-story, 226,000 square foot apartment building in Detroit, Mich., no two words have ever sounded sweeter.

The 280-unit complex, built in the 1970s on the banks of the Detroit River, has struggled for years with water infiltration after every hard rain. Not just a little leakage. But a lot.

“It wasn’t like just one or two units had a leak,” reports James T. Pappas, AIA, president of Fusco, Shaffer & Pappas, Inc. Architects and Planners, the 52 year-old design firm based in Ferndale, Mich. that was hired to solve the water problems. (more…)
